The company recognizes that uncontrolled smoking of tobacco products is a fire hazard and also harmful to the health of smokers and non-smokers through passive smoking. It is the Company’s objective to prevent fire incidents, maintain good health for all employees and discourage smoking on board and in office premises under Company control.
To achieve the above objective, the Company’s policy is as follows:
Smoking is only allowed in the following areas when the vessel is outside the 500m restricted zone:
The perimeter outside the wheelhouse.
An area on the main deck just aft of the accommodation, this area is to be clearly marked.
Within accommodation, provided there is a dedicated smoking area provided by the company and the smoking area meets all air extraction requirements. The indoor smoking area shall be approved by Senior Management.
When operating within the 500m restricted zone, smoking is prohibited in all locations other than approved smoking areas in the accommodation.

Within all office areas
Enclosed office areas
As per the legislation of the country where the office is located

Lilly Maritime will treat all complaints of harassment and bullying seriously and in strict confidence. Lilly Maritime is committed to provide a safe and respectful work environment for all sea and shore staff including clients.
The company considers any complaint of harassment & bullying including cyber bullying to be a serious issue and operates a zero-tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment in the workplace.
All incidents of harassment/bullying shall be treated seriously and allegations investigated promptly, whilst maintaining confidentiality insofar as it is possible.
If an employee does not feel comfortable raising a complaint, he/she may ask a friend or colleague to do so on his/her behalf. He /She will not be penalized by the company for making a complaint, provided it is not vexatious or made maliciously.

Lilly Maritime Pvt. Ltd. has adopted a Cyber Security Policy incorporating the following elements:
1. It is the Policy of the COMPANY to ensure that:
Information and Systems identified as vulnerable to Cyber-attacks will be protected from a loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Regulatory and legislative requirements are to be met.
Cyber Security Contingency Plans have been produced for support.
Cyber Security training/familiarization will be available to all staff.
All breaches of information security, actual or suspected, will be reported to and investigated by the company cyber security officer.
2. Guidance and procedures have been produced to support this policy and provided to the vessel.
3. The role and responsibility of the designated Company Cyber Security Officer is to manage information security and to provide advice and guidance on implementation of the Cyber Security Policy. And has direct responsibility for maintaining and reviewing the Policy.
4. All managers are directly responsible for implementing the Cyber Security Policy within their departments.
5. It is the responsibility of each employee/crew member to adhere to the Cyber Security Policy.
The Lilly Maritime Pvt. Ltd. is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, visitors and third parties impacted by its operations. This includes an environment free from the adverse effects caused by the abuse of drugs and consumption of alcohol.
Compliance with this policy is the responsibility of every employee as follows:
The illicit use of legal drugs or the use, possession, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs on Company business or location is strictly prohibited.
Employees must not consume alcohol whilst on Company, Client or business partner premises, in Company or Client vehicles and vessels, or at any work site, except on Company approved occasions.
Where employees are working in another country or company facility that location’s laws and substance abuse policy will also strictly apply.
Company has the discretion to require employees to undergo Drug tests as part of pre-employment screening, reasonable suspicion and serious marine post casualty and to undergo Alcohol tests as part of pre-employment screening, reasonable suspicion, post-incident and random testing.
Personnel on lunch break, during port call shore leave, on site in any capacity (be they off shift, on shift or on-call) are all subject to this policy requirements. Personnel joining or returning to site must ensure that they are free from the adverse effect of Drugs and Alcohol. Should there be an emergency at site all personnel must be in a fit state to evacuate the site and render assistance to site emergency response teams if/as required at all times. LMPL has “ZERO” tolerance to noncompliance.
Note: Whilst Company cannot legally enforce Drug and Alcohol testing of individuals or the searching of personnel and their belongings. Company will view refusal to comply as cause to deny entry to or require removal from site and consider personnel to be in breach of their contract of employment.
The Company is committed to the protection of the environment and shall strive for continual performance improvement to every aspect. The Company’s SMS emphasized source reduction, including funding and human resources necessary to effectively maintain and repair the systems, equipment and components found in machinery spaces of the vessels.

All personnel of Lilly Maritime to comply with the EMS in order to continuously improve the Company’s performance with respect to the environment. And take necessary steps towards the conservation and preservation of the environment, scale and environmental aspects of our shore based and shipboard activities and services.
All Lilly Maritime personnel and Senior Officers, whether ashore supporting our ships or at sea working on board, will actively work to prevent unsafe acts and damage to the environment and they should lead by example to continually improve effectiveness of the quality management system.

We also conduct training to improve environmental awareness and we improve operational procedures to ensure our targets are met.

The Company undertakes to comply with the requirements under ISM code by setting up Safety Management System (SMS). The SMS is designed to ensure the Company’s activities are sufficiently controlled to protect personnel and property from all identified risks and hazards that can be reasonably expected.
The Company will provide services of quality consistent with ISM code in order to satisfy not only the needs of the customers but also those of the maritime environment and ensure compliance with international and national rules and regulations and industry guidelines and standards.
The company’s SMS through its documented procedures ensures following objectives:
Policy is understood and maintained at all levels.
Provide for safe practices in ship operation and safe working environment.
Assess all identified risks to its ships, personnel and the environment and establish appropriate safeguards.
Continuously improve safety management skills of personnel ashore and aboard ships, including preparing for emergencies related to safety.
Regular audits & review of system & upgrading of skill of personnel by training to ensure continual improvement.
Safety of Life and Property at sea and safeguarding the property of the clients shall be critical aspects which will underpin the way in which the Company will carry out its business.
The company will conduct its activities in a manner that are safe with working safely being the condition for employment and are environmentally responsible with the ultimate goals of “Zero Incidents and Zero Accidents”.
